Welcome to our class! I look forward to getting to know each and every one
of my students this year. Here is a little bit about me:
I grew up in Metairie and received my B.S. in Elementary Education from LSU
in Baton Rouge. I began teaching in Jefferson Parish, and taught there for
eight years. I have been at Lyon Elementary for sixteen years. I have
taught both sixth and second grades. I am thrilled about teaching third grade
this year! The students are always so motivated and eager to learn, and that
just makes my job more enjoyable and fun.
My husband and I live in Covington and have a fourteen year old daughter and
a five year old son, who are also students in the St. Tammany Parish Public
Schools.
