I have lived in Covington all of my life. I graduated from Covington High
School in 1992. I then attended Louisiana State University for 2 years. I
transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University to pursue my degree in
Elementary Education. I graduated from SLU in 1998. This will be my
fourteenth year teaching. The first 5 years of my career, I taught 1st grade
here at Lyon. After that, I began teaching kindergarten. I absolutely love
kindergarten! Every year is exciting and new!
I am married to my husband, Tommy, of 13 years and the mother of 3 beautiful
boys, Aiden 12, Noah 9 and Westen 4. I enjoy coffee, shopping, the beach,
reading, and spending time with my family. I am also a big LSU fan! GEAUX
TIGERS!!!
