Spelling Choices: Pick a different homework activity for each evening (Monday
through Wednesday). Do the activity in your binder to be turned in each
morning.
3x Each
Write your spelling words three times each.
Write and Illustrate
Write each of your spelling words once and draw a picture for that word.
Backwords Words
Write your words forwards, then backwards.
Ex. pig gip
Create a Story
Write a short story using at least seven of your spelling words. Underline
the spelling words in your story.
ABC Order
Write all of your spelling words in alphabetical order.
Colorful Words
Write each letter using a different color pencil or crayon.
Type Your Words
Type each spelling word on the computer. Print the page and glue, staple, or
tape it in your binder.
Rainbow Words
Write words first in pencil. Then trace over each word 3 times using a
different color.
Sentences
Create at least ten sentences using your spelling words. There should be at
least one spelling word in each sentence. Underline each spelling word.
