My name is Mrs. McIntosh and I have been living in Covington, Louisiana
for the past 30 years. I am originally from Laurel, Mississippi. I received
my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University.
I have been teaching for the past 24 years--and 22 of those years have been
at Lyon Elementary.
I am married and have 3 children. I also have 3 grandsons and 3
granddaughters. I enjoy spending time with them. I have been blessed
tremendously.
I love teaching first grade because the students are so loving and
excited about learning.
To help students understand that school can provide a fun time as well as a
learning time.
