** "CUB ROARS" ** will be sent home once a week usually Wednesday or
Thursday.) Please SIGN AND RETURN them the next day WITH ALL GRADED TEST
PAPERS SENT BACK TO ME.)
** READING TEXTBOOKS WILL BE SENT HOME ON THURSDAYS for your child to
read ALOUD the story of the week in preparation for Friday's test. Please
send the TEXTBOOK BACK TO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY.
The Vocabulary words and definitions are written in your child's Reading
notebook each week for each new story to study and learn at home.
FYI: If a textbook is lost, then the parent is expected to pay for the cost.
Your child should read, study, and focus on the CURRENT READING STORY FOR THE
WEEK THAT WE ARE WORKING ON IN CLASS. Please discourage your child from
reading other stories in the textbook ahead of time.

to read to the class. Remember, if you have time or the inclination, I love
having parent volunteers!!
