THANK YOU so much to ALL of the family members who came to chaperone
our first field trip to the St. Tammany Parish Fair!
What great people we have in the Lyon Elementary School Community.
YOU really make the difference in your child’s education.
THANKS to the families who participated in the fundraiser in selling
Entertainment Books.
WORK THIS WEEK…
We began talking about our families this week.
PLEASE SEND IN A FAMILY PICTURE in your child’s folder ASAP.
We also did a lot of work with farm animals due to our fair trip.
REMINDERS…
*Pre-K is now participating in Snack Shack on Fridays! Please get involved
and you can help support the PTA and reward your child at the same time.
Pre-K will be able to buy a Popsicle for 25 cents.
They will have their Popsicle at the end of the day, along with our pre-k
provided snack.
Please send the 25 cents in the folder, so we know your child has money.
*Pre-K will also begin participating in the Lyon Roar Store by cashing in
their Lyon Bucks for prizes to reward their good behavior. Send in the bucks
in your child’s folder ASAP.
*MARK YOUR CALENDARS: NO SCHOOL, the first 2 Fridays in October!
