I want to extend a special THANK YOU to Mr. Bowen (Matthew's father) for
taking time out of his busy schedule to speak with the children about his
career and role in the United States Space Shuttle program. The children and
I were extremely interested in your job as it pertains to the Space Shuttle
mission. Again, thank you for sharing your passion for science and the space
program with the children.
Interim Reports went home last Thursday. If you have not already done so,
please review your child's mid-quarter grades, sign, and return the folder
inside the yellow envelope ASAP. As always, if you would like to schedule a
conference to discuss your child's progress, please indicate this on the
envelope, and provide me with a current phone number so I can set up a
convenient time to meet. Thank you.
Continue to check that your child has completed his/her homework and
sign in the space provided on the homework contract each night. Your
support and participation have such a positive impact on your child's success
and progress throughout the year. Thank you, very much, for working with me
in this area.

Friday afternoon Snack Shack is in full swing! A suggested amount to
send with your child is between 50 - 75 cents.
