A great big THANK YOU goes out to the parents who provided the delicious
treats for our fun Halloween party last Friday. The children looked very
festive in their costumes, and we had a wonderful selection of treats. I
want to extend a very special THANK YOU to Mrs. Legere for coming in to help
with the party - I couldn't have done it without your help! Thanks again to
everyone.
Lyon Lagniappe is coming up on Thursday, November 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy spending time with your children
while listening to good local music, participating in school-wide activities,
and sampling some of the great food offered. I look forward to seeing
everyone there!
Lyon's Veteran's Day program will take place on Wednesday, November 11th in
the circle drive near our flag pole. This program will honor the Veterans
who have, or currently are, serving in the Armed Forces to protect our
freedoms as a nation. If you would like further information about this
program, please contact the school at 892-0869.
Continue to check that your child has completed his/her homework and
sign in the space provided on the homework contract each night. Your
support and participation have such a positive impact on your child's success
and progress throughout the year. Thank you, very much, for working with me
in this area.

Friday afternoon Snack Shack is in full swing! A suggested amount to
send with your child is between 50 - 75 cents.
