I am a resident of Covington, LA, although I grew up across the lake in
Metairie. I am very happily married to Noah. We will celebrate our 2nd
anniversary this September. I have two beautiful and active daughters, Ava and
Zoe, and an adorable 7 year old step-son, Clayton. Our family welcomed a new
addition this summer, James. He is a sweet, precious, snuggly little baby. We
enjoy hugging on him all day long!
Ava will begin 4th grade and move over to Lancaster this year. I have
thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow up in my school family and interact with
her friends in our learning community. Clayton will begin 2nd grade at St.
Peter. Zoe will finally join me here at MES as she begins Kindergarten. I am
very excited to have her here with me.
I graduated from University of New Orleans in 2000 with a BA in Elementary
Education. I have been teaching in St. Tammany Parish for ten years. I have
previously taught 6th, 7th, 5th, 2nd and 1st grades. I absolutely love
teaching first grade at Madisonville Elementary. I also enjoy working as a
supervising teacher to college students (future teachers!) in their last
semester before graduating.
