Reading Choices 2nd Book
Dear Parents,
To help your child study his/her vocabulary words, please use one of
the following activities. Your child does not have to bring it to school, but
you will need to write which number activity you did on the Weekly Homework
Sheet in the binder. I will check each morning. Your child can do the same
activity if he or she would like, but try to encourage your child to do
something different.
READING CHOICES
1. See and Say -
Look at the words and say them at least 3 times.
2. Flashcards-
Make flashcards with
the words.
3. Writing-
Write the words 2 times each.
4. Memory-
Make two sets of flashcards
and play a matching game.
5. Write a Sentence-
write a sentence using
the voc. words.
6. Play GO FISH
Make two sets of flashcards with
vocabulary words. Each player takes
5 words. Ask each other for a word.
If they do not have your word, they
say ,”Go Fish”. You draw a card and
try to make a match.
