1.Type Words-use a computer or typewriter to type each word.
2. Color Vowels- write the words and go back and color each vowel.
3.Fancy Words-use different style fonts to type the words or write them fancy.
4.Stair Step Words-Write the words letter by letter in a pyramid.
5.Dice Words-roll the dice and write the words that many times.
6.Hidden Word Picture-draw and color a picture and then hide your spelling
words in the picture.
7. Cheer Words—Spell out words as you cheer them. “Give me a ‘c’- ‘c’ Give me
an ‘a’. ‘a’ Give me a ‘t’. ‘t’ What’s it spell? Cat,
Cat, Cat.
8. Rainbow Words-write each word using the colors of the rainbow

Please pick one assignment for to do as spelling homework each night.

a magazine.
4.Dice Words-roll the dice and write the words that many times.

8. Read My Back-one partner writes a spelling word on the child’s back. The
child names the word.
9.SentenceWriting-
Write 5 complete sentences using as many spelling words as you can.
