This school year marks my 20th year of teaching. I have taught 3rd grade for
12 years. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a BA in
Elementary Education. I came to Madisonville Elementary in the spring of 2008
after relocating back home from Lafayette. I taught 3rd grade in Lafayette
for 10 1/2 years. Prior to teaching in Lafayette I taught 1 year in New
Orleans, 1 year in California, and 6 years here in St. Tammany. I am married
and have one son and one stepson. My son Presley will be in 2nd grade here
at Madisonville Elementary. My stepson Dusty will start 9th grade in New
Jersey where he lives with his mother.
I love teaching and look forward to each day as a new learning experience for
both me and my students. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis,
biking,reading and going to the beach.
The mission of Madisonville Elementary School is for students to become
thoughtful learners in our school and community.
