A Note From Mrs.Desselles
Dear Parents,
We are excited about the Pow-Wow. The kids had so much fun decorating
their t-shirts. Thanks to the parents who were able to help. We’ve been busy
making an Indian headband and will use magnolia leaves for the feathers, and
our Indian necklace will be decorated with popcorn and feathers.
We made Pilgrim hats and bonnets to wear when we eat in the cafeteria
on Thursday since they will be serving Turkey, dressing, etc.-a Thanksgiving
Feast!
A Field trip note was sent home about the musical performance A
Holiday Extravaganza .It will take place at Covington High School on December
4, 2009. The Deadline to send in Money and the permission slip is Friday,
November 20th.
Nov.23- Nov.27 is the Thanksgiving Holiday. I ‘m thankful for all
your help and support …I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
What We’re Learning This Week
We will begin Unit 4. Each week we will focus a certain letter in the
alphabet.

Math Voc.: eleven, twelve ,thirteen ,fourteen, fifteen and will write number
using objects to represent quantities 11-15.Review reading and writing
numbers one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten reading and
writing numbers .
Show –n-Tell: On Friday, your child can bring an object or a picture of
something that begins with Cc. It is must be able to fit in your child’s
booksack.Please try to bring in an item. The children look forward to this
