Reading Choices 3^rd Book

Dear Parents,

To help your child study his/her vocabulary words, please use one of the following activities. Your child does not have to bring it to school, but you will need to write which number activity you did on the Weekly Homework Sheet in the binder. I will check each morning. Your child can do the same activity if he or she would like, but try to encourage your child to do something different.

READING CHOICES

1. Hangman-

play hangman with the vocabulary words.

2. Memory-

Make 2 sets of flashcards with

the vocabulary words and try

to find the match. Say the words

as you turn them over.

3. Writing-

Write the words 2 times each.

Circle the vowels.

4. Write a Sentence-

Write a telling sentence or question with each word.

5. Hide and Seek-

Look for the words on

something in your house

and show it to someone.

6. ABC Order-

put your vocabulary words in ABC order.
