Hello Parents and student,
I have been a teacher at Madisonville Jr. High for the past seventeen years.
I hold a certificate to teach 5th - 8th grade, a Masters in Gifted Education,
a BS. degree in History. I am also highly qualified to teach Middle School
Math, Middle School ELA, and High School Math. Since becoming a teacher I have
taught 5th - 8th grade gifted & honors math, 7th & 8th grade gifted English &
Reading,and Algebra I to 8th grade gifted & honors students.
I live in the Madisonville School District with my husband of 31 years, Mark,
numerous cats (this is always being added to), and an absentee LSU
college student, my daughter, Alexandra. When not spending excessive time at
school, I enjoy gardening, renovating my house (applying all that math) and
reading.
