Hello! My name is Amy Frederick. I graduated from Nicholls State
University in education. I have been teaching for 14 years. Five years
teaching third grade and five years teaching second grade at Mimosa Park
Elementary in Luling, Louisiana. Three years teaching 2nd grade at MES and
this is my second year teaching first grade. This is a fantastic school and
I feel very lucky to be here.
My husband, Derek, and I have been married for twelve wonderful years. We
have been blessed with two handsome boys. Our oldest, Derek Jr.(DJ), is 9
years old and is in the fourth grade. Our youngest, Drew, will
be 5 in February.
I enjoy reading, swimming, spending time with my family and watching the
Saints play!
My mission for our class is to create a respectful and nurturing environment
where students will take risks and develop a life-long love of learning.
