Math: This week we will work on geometry skills. Our focus will be on lines,
angles, shapes, and figures this week. Test on Friday. Don't forget to
continue to study multiplication facts. Multiplication fact test each week.
Reading: The story is Cook A Doodle Doo. Our weekly skill is making
sequencing story events. Vocabulary words are recipe, tasty, masterpiece,
magnificent, & ingredients.
Language: In writer's workshop, students will write descriptive paragraphs.
The language skill will focus on "being" verbs (am, is, are, was, were, will
be).
Science: This week the students will complete the force and motion unit. We
will work on friction and Newton’s Laws of Motion. Students will conduct
experiments about force, motion, speed, & friction.
