What we’re studying
Math: Our math skills for the week include using numbers in patterns,
comparing numbers, and ordering numbers.
Reading: Our story will be Dear Juno. The vocabulary words are crackle,
announced, soared, starry, envelope, and photograph. We will review story
elements (character, setting, & plot).
Language: We will continue to study sentences including commands and
exclamations. Also, students will finish the final copy of a personal
narrative about the summer.
Social Studies: We will work on map skills including cardinal directions,
map keys, types of maps, and Louisiana maps. Students will complete their
personal time lines.
