Welcome to our classroom! I am very excited to be at MES for the 2008-
2009 school year. I am originally from St. Bernard Parish and moved to St.
Tammany Parish after Hurricane Katrina. This will be my third year teaching
at Mandeville Elementary School. It will be my seventh year teaching third
grade and my 13th year teaching. I hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum &
Instruction from the University of New Orleans.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, writing, and spending time with my
friends and family. I am also a Saints fan who makes all of the games.
I am looking forward to an exciting and challenging school year. This year
MES is a part of the RODEO - Reaching Out and Discovering Exciting
Opportunities!
My mission for the class is to create a safe, positive, cooperative, and
caring learning environment where students become responsible, life-long
learners.
