One of the speakers was Jason Ohler. He presented a session called "Telling
Your Story with New Media." He has some great ideas and was very
motivational. He said to jump in and realize that we're not looking for
a "perfect product." We should be looking for the benefits of the process.
New Media
Mission Possible was a session presented by Dana McGee which included a list
of useful websites to use in class. When you go to the website, you will
need to choose LACUE from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

One of the most popular topics this year was Photo Story 3 which is a free
download from Microsoft. It is so easy to use and I've already tried it with
my class. The students have already created a story with titles and music.
The students understand the process and can use their writing and
cooperative group skills on projects.
