Homework

Reading to your child regulary is the most effective homework for fostering 
literacy development.  Please read to your child daily and have them retell 
the story to you.  Also, have them practice counting to 20.  Encourage your 
child to write regulary in a journal, by writing notes, lists, and/or 
letters.  One last thing, have your child practice writing his/her name.  At 
this age they want homework and by doing these things they feel like a big 
kid!
