Procedures and PoliciesClassroom Procedures and Policies: Mr. Allen’s Class Rules and proceedures: 1. All students are to be inside the classroom and in their assigned seats by the time the tardy bell rings. If you are late, please have an admit slip with you. 2. No eating or drinking and no food are drink containers are allowed in class. 3. Only books and materials for science class are allowed on your desk or in your hands during class. I will take up any material to be returned at my discretion or taken to a principal by the end of the day. No electronic devices should be present in class. 4. Students must bring all necessary materials to class. Pencils are required everyday. 5. Students will be respectful to each other and to the teacher and refrain from behavior that interferes with the learning process. 6. Students will not touch anything in the class that does not belong to them without the permission of the teacher. Seemingly harmless equipment can be dangerous. 7. Any problems with the teacher should be addressed before or after class, not during class. This includes questions about grades. 8. All lab safety procedures will be followed at all times in the class. 9. Late homework will not be accepted. Projects and Take Home Tests will be accepted for 2 school days following the due date with a 10 pt. penalty each day. Make up tests must bee completed within one week of the return to class with an excused absence. Consequences: Any of the following consequences may be given at any time 1. Warning 2. Detention 15 minutes minimum 3. 4. Parental Conference 5. Referral to office |
