1. Talking is absolutely forbidden:
a. when Mr. Batiste is talking
b. when any test, exam, or quiz is in progress.
c. whenever another student has the floor.
d. whenever there is any kind of audio-visual presentation in progress.
2. Please refrain from talk loudly.
3. Making disrespectful remarks is not allowed. No profanity.
4. Please do not use radios, I-pods, cd-players, and cell phones or other electronic devices in class.
5. Avoid leaving paper or trash in the desk or on the floor.
6. Please do not mark or otherwise deface school property. This includes desk, floors, walls, chairs, books, etc.
7. Stay in your assigned seat, you need permission to change seats.
8. Please do not be tardy to class.
9. When you leave class take a hall pass.
10. Do all work to be graded in class under Mr. Batiste�s supervision. Only supplementary work may be done outside of class.
11. Complete all makeup work no later than five days after an absence. This includes quizzes, tests, or other assignments that have been missed. Excused absences only.
12. You need permission to do work from another class during my class.
13. Other than for official meetings, do not leave my class to go to another teacher�s classroom without a written note from that teacher and approval from Mr. Batiste.
14. Use five minutes or less at the end of class period to clean up and put away equipment and materials. A signal will be given by Mr. Batiste to start the clean-up.
15. Remain seated at your desk until dismissed by Mr. Batiste, not when the bell rings.
16. Be sure that your desk is in order and your stool is under your desk before you leave class.
17. Students will be expected to bring the following materials to class each day:
Notebook, and a two pocket folder.
Pencil
Textbook (when issued)
Drawing equipment and material (drafting)
- Students will be expected to be in their assigned seat and prepared to begin class work when the tardy bell rings.
- Keep a record of your graded drawing assignment in your two pocket folder which will be checked and graded. (Drafting students only.)
- All makeup work will be done before or after school by appointment only. I will be available to assist students during these times. Other appointments for student assistance can be made during my planning period, 3rd hour first semester and 3rd & 7th hours second semester. Only students with excused absences will be allowed to do certain makeup work.
- Students are required to wear their ID card while in my class.
22. Students who are observed using any interior or exterior aids during an exam, test, or other individual classroom assignments will probably receive a grade of "0" for that assignment. This observed behavior could constitute cheating, which is not allowed.
