The grading system for 7th grade ELA is as follows:
50% of report card grade will come from ASSESSMENTS (tests, quizzes,
projects).
30% of report card grade will come from CLASS PARTICIPATION (classwork,
homework, etc.)
20% of report card grade will come from the nine weeks' exam. (This is
mandated by STPSB.)

This new grading scale (adopted by STPSB) was sent home the first day of
school.
