ENGLISH: This week we will do three proofreading exercises in preparation of
iLEAP. We will also continue our unit on verbs covering simple and perfect
tenses. There will be a test on these tenses on Tuesday, Feb. 7. We will do
two journal writings this week, and we will write an expository essay.
This week we will also conclude Vocabulary Workshop Unit 7. The unit is due
on Thursday, and the test will be on Friday.
READING: This week we will continue our nonfiction unit with two persuasive
articles in the red textbook. The test on these articles will be Thursday.
SSR continues to be on a nonfiction selection.
