Week of 2/13 - 2/17/2012

Please check your child’s school supplies.  Many no longer have  pencils, crayons, markers, or colored pencils.  Many also need to replenish the paper in their binders.

Yearbook money due February 17^th.

On May 7^th, our classes will be going to BizTown for a field trip.  We need as many volunteers as possible. More information will follow but if you are interested, please save the date!

Reading – Accelerated Reader; Pictionary; "Weslandia"; Skills – theme, word origin.  Students have vocabulary words to study.  Students are presenting their favorite book glogs this week.
Spelling - Unit 5 lesson 1; 4 activity choices for homework.
Science –Chapter 5 Classifying Organisms -  Open book quiz on Chapter 5 on Wednesday; vocabulary quiz on Thursday.
