I received my BA from SLU and am dually certified in Elementary Education
grades 1-8 and Mild/Moderate Special Education grades 1-8. I have been
teaching for 12 years. This is my eleventh year at MMS. I am married and live
in Covington with my family. My oldest son is a Freshman at Southeastern
Louisiana University, my middle son is a Sophomore at FHS and my youngest son
is in 3rd grade at Magnolia Trace this year. I enjoy cooking, reading,
traveling, skiing, and spending time with my family. My family and I are HUGE
Saints fans (who isn't?) and will be following this football season very
anxiously! We love animals and have one tortoise, two gerbils, three turtles
and a spoiled little Yorkie named Maddie!
Our class will follow the school-wide FISH philosphy and I will foster a
TEAMWORK atmosphere into all lessons and aspects of our classroom. Many
classroom activities are completed by small groups of students (Teams) but
individual grades are given based on each student's input and effort.
