I graduated from NSU in May, 2005, and was proud to be invited to the Many
Junior High staff by our principal, Mrs. Owens. Having completed five
wonderful years, I anticipate my sixth year of teaching with excitement and
enthusiasm.
I am so thankful to be a part of Many Junior High School. I look forward
to working with the 2011-2012 faculty and staff, and especially the 8th grade
students.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I live in Many with my husband Greg and our daughter Sarah.
Nick is currently attending college at BPCC in Shreveport, and Sarah is a
Freshman at Northwestern State University. Nick and his wife Brittany reside
in Grand Cane with their long-haired chihuahua Billy. My oldest child is
Macky Byles. He and his wife Cait and my fantastic grandchildren, Kennedy &
Grayson, live in Many, LA.
I am the daughter of Jim and Pat Quayhagen, and have five brothers and
sisters. My mother deserves a medal for putting up with my dad (a.k.a. "Big
Jim") for over 50 years! You can regulary spot my dad at MHS football games
sitting in the "Hey, Hey, Hey" section.
It is my goal to instill in each of my students a feeling of excitement
toward education. Learning is FUN!
