Yvonne Weimer is the 2010-2011 principal of Maria Immacolata Catholic
School. Mrs. Weimer has been an educator for 30 years in the Lafourche
Parish Public Schools. She grew up in north Louisiana and has lived in
Thibodaux her entire adult life. She graduated from the University of
Louisiana at Monroe with a B.S. in Family Life. She obtained her teacher
certification and MEd. in both Curriculum/Instruction and
Administration/Supervision from Nicholls State University. She served as
assistant principal at South Thibodaux Elementary School and retired as
assistant principal of Thibodaux High. After retirement she then worked in
educational publishing sales and served as a consultant for a national
educational technology company.
Mrs. Weimer has been married to her husband, Mike for 36 years. They are the
parents of two daughters, and the grandparents of two beautiful grandchildren.
