I was born in New Orleans, LA and I grew up in Covington, LA. I earned my
Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1998 from Southeastern Louisiana
University. I earned my Master of Music degree (emphasis in music education
and clarinet performance) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in
2003. I have been teaching music for thirteen years and I have been teaching
music in the public schools for ten years.
I am a member of the Louisiana Music Educators Association, Music Educators
National Conference, and the Society of Ethnomusicology.
I love teaching music and I hope to assist young musicians as they discover
their abilities and develope their skills in performing music.
