Apr. 18 - 21:  NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY APRIL 22 or MONDAY APRIL 25

We will not have a reading story this week.  We are giving a manditory second grade CASE test on Tuesday and Wednesday for Reading.  Please see that your child is at school on time and well rested for this test. 

Spelling:  There will be no spelling words this week.
Reading:  No reading story this week.

Reading Skills 

Math: 
We are doing timed tests on x4's this week.  Please practice those flash cards daily.  We are also working on understanding length and height.  We will be measuring inches and feet.  PLEASE KNOW:
               12 inches = 1 foot
               3 feet = 1 yard
               36 inches = 1 yard

Lesson 3: America's Symbols
Lesson 4:  We celebrate Holidays
