My name is Gay Cross. I have lived in Monterey my whole life. I always
thought that I would like to teach but did not decide to go to college until
many years after I graduated from MHS. I am so thankful that I made that
decision. I am so grateful that I have a job in a community that I love and
a school that encourages learning, parental involvement and a safe and secure
environment.
My true passion in teaching is Reading. I am thankful for the opportunity to
work with many of the students here and enjoy watching them become fluent
readers.
