Homework is expected to be completed even when
students are absent.
Mondays--Write words three times each.
Tuesdays--Write words in ABC order. (The 1st 6-weeks do
rhyming words.)
Wednesdays--Write 5 sentences using the language skill for the week.
Thursdays--Take a pretest.
Each evening: study reading words, robust vocabulary words, read the story for the week, also try to read a book that is not assigned reading.
Don't forget to send a note for every book your child reads so he/she can get a sticker on the chart for each book so they can get a prize out of the treasure box for every 10 books read.
