Supplies/Class Rules

Classroom supply list:

  • Calculator
  • King James Version Bible
  • A ready supply of blue or black pens and pencils (math/language)
  • A notebook used solely for each class (perforated pages only)
  • Your syllabus
  • Your text book
  • Your brain

General rules and procedures:

  • All make up work will require an excused admit slip and will be due the class period upon your arrival back at school (rare exceptions will be made depending upon the circumstances).
  • Being absent the day before or several days before a test or quiz does not absolve you from your responsibility to take the test or quiz on the day that it is scheduled in your syllabus.
  • All tests and quizzes must be taken in blue or black ink. Pencils must be used for language and math.
  • You must use your cover sheet during tests and quizzes.
  • Do not look around during tests and quizzes.
  • Homework is due at the BEGINNING of class.
  • Late assignments will NEVER be accepted. Exceptions will be made on rare occasions and are made at the sole discretion of the teacher.
  • Quizzes and tests will commence at the bell.  You will not get class-time to ‘look over’ the material.  You should study at your home and come to class prepared.
  • Cheating is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.  I am not afraid to confront cheaters.  All cheating will result in an automatic zero.  I consider the following to be cheating:
    • Talking during the test or quiz
    • If another teacher hears of you cheating, it’s as if I have caught you cheating
    • Not using your cover sheet
    • Looking on another paper
    • Telling another student what was on a quiz before they have had a chance to take it
    • Constructing and use of a cheat sheet

The supply list and rules and procedures listed above are subject to change at any time in the form of additions or deletions.  You will, of course, be informed of said hypothetical changes in a timely manner.
