   Dear Families,

        This week we will wrap up our Animal unit and begin our unit on Oceans. We’ll also learn more about money and subtraction as we approach the finish line of our Kindergarten year!!

      Our learning stations will be centered around oceans as well. We’ll listen to Eric Carle’sA House for Hermit Crab. We’ll use graham crackers, blue icing, teddy grahams and gummy lifesavers to make bears on the beach in the cooking station. We’ll practice subtraction in the math station as we play Oh Fish Sticks! The jellyfish we make in the art station will surely decorate our classroom.  Finally, in the language station, we’ll play a game to help read CVC words!!
