My name is Kay Mestayer and I am delighted to be your child's pre-
kindergarten teacher. I absolutely love working with children! I received
my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. This is
my third year as a pre-kindergarten teacher in Zachary. One of my greatest
achievements occurred this year when I was voted Teacher of the Year for
Zachary Early Learning Center. I am married and have two daughters, an 11th
grader and a 5th grader. As a parent of a young child, I fully understand
the responsibilities we have as parents and teachers to our children.
This is Ms. White's 8th year teaching pre-kindergarten in the Zachary
Community School District. She has two daughters, one son, three
granddaughters and a new grandson. She loves working with young
children and watching them grow.
We are looking forward to working with you and your child in the coming
year. We are both very excited to be a part of your child's early
education.
It is my primary goal to help your child reach his/her full potential while
encouraging positive self-esteem.
