Parents,

     We are beginning our last nine weeks of school and  are doing a wonderful job. We are trying very hard to get ready for first grade. 
 
     The class is certainly looking forward to going to the zoo in New Orleans.  This trip will be the culmination of our three week study on animals. We also have a trip to the strawberry farm as we end our study of plants.  We will close our year with looking at life in the ocean and summer fun. 

In math this last nine weeks, we will be adding and subtracting as well as learning and classifying 3 d shapes
