Welcome to PreK! My name is Mrs. Michele Hebert and I am your child’s
teacher for the 2011-2012 school year. This is my third year teaching PreK
in the Zachary School System. However, I have been teaching PreK since 1992
in Lake Charles after receiving my Early Childhood degree from McNeese State
University. My motto is "I'm still in PreK, and I'm PROUD of it!" I truly
believe that my mission is to nurture and instill the love of learning in all
children.
We just jumped over one hurdle, our daughter Lexi was married on April Fool's
Day. Our next hurdle is the graduation of our son, Tanner. Then this summer,
our youngest son,Rhett, will be playing ball in Panama City. What joy our
children has brought us! (and expense, haha)
I am excited to be working with Ms. Kelly Sanders again this year. This is
our second year together. She has been a paraprofessional at Northwestern
Elementary for five years and prior to that she worked in EBR with students
who had developmental delays. Ms. Kelly's experience with children of all
abilities will be an asset to our learning environment. Together we will
provide your child a nurturing, fun-filled environment.
