I love teaching Kindergarten! I have been teaching Kindergarten for the past
fourteen years. I taught third grade for three years before I came to
Kindergarten. I am married to my husband, Randy. We have three children (two
boys, Michael- 19 & Colin-9 years old and one girl, Miranda-11 years old). We
also have three dogs: Bear, Daisy & Bubba. I graduated from Baker High
School and LSU. I have lived in Louisiana all but 2 years of my life. As a
teacher, I want to raise Louisiana Education to a level that we can be proud
of!

I am currently in the process of learning ASL (American Sign Language). I
find it fascinating and love teaching my students how to sign. And it is VERY
convenient for communicating to my students across a loud room!
My mission for the children is to get them prepared for the rest of their
academic career. I want to create a safe and loving environment where
children can expand their horizons, strengthen their brains, and develop
into caring, productive citizens.
