Mrs. Broussard: This is my tenth year to teach pre-kindergarten, and I
absolutely love it! I have an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from
LSU, and I also received my master's degree from there as well. I have a MS
in Human Ecology, Early Childhood Education. I've been married for 23
years, and have two wonderful sons, ages 15 and 4.
Mrs. Kathy Overfield: Kathy grew up in Baker, La where her Dad, Pete Heine,
served as Mayor. Kathy was a preschool teacher at Brownsfield Baptist
Preschool in the early 1970's. She started teaching private piano lessons
which she continues to do today. She was the music teacher at Galilee Baptist
Academy from 2003-2006. Kathy serves at Plains Presbyterian in Zachary as
pianist/organist and plays the piano professionally in the Baton Rouge area.
She is married to Glenn Overfield and they have two daughters, Hallie, 21 and
Tommie, 18. They reside in Zachary.
