Dear Parents,
This week we will be studying leaves. We will sort and graph leaf sprinkles in the math center. A fall tree recipe will be followed in the cooking center. In the art center students will complete a poem puzzle then create a fall tree. In the science center we will measure a leaf, see how many pennies it takes to cover it, see how far we can count until it hits the ground, and how many pennies it takes to sink the leaf in a bowl of water. Please be on the lookout for any leaves that have changed colors. We found some at school, but it would be nice to have a variety to look at!
In the Beary Good Work binder, I have added homework for the month of November. Please read the directions for your child, and let them complete the homework on their own. Please return the binder on Mondays as usual. Start looking for the appropriate clothing for the Christmas program (as noted by Mrs. Hill) and for PJ’s that your child will wear for our class Christmas party.
