Education from LSU and taught various elementary grades for approximately 10
years. I received my Master's degree in school counseling from LSU in 1995
and my Education Specialist degree in counseling from LSU in 2005. I am also
a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Louisiana (LPC),as well

In accordance with the American School Counseling Association's National
Model, Northwestern Elementary's School Counseling Program strives to
promote academic development, career development, and personal/social
development by helping to establish a climate in which the school, parents
and community emphasize academic excellence, a sense of responsibility and
respect, and the development of a better understanding of oneself and
others. Furthermore, Northwestern Elementary's School Counseling Program
supports the mission of the Zachary Community School Board in striving to
assist every student in reaching his or her maximum potential through high-
quality instruction and good stewardship of community resources.
