Re:  Academic plan

 

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES;

 

1. I will attend class (school) on a regular basis.  Students not attending 160 days will fail this class.
2. I will, when absent, bring a doctor’s use or a note from parents within 2 days.   Doctor’s excuse does not count against my attendance.   A parent note allows me to make up work missed.
3. I will be on time and in my seat before the tardy bell rings.
4. I will bring textbook, writing utensil, or other needed material to class every day.
5. I will have a good attitude—one that will enable me to learn and view and respect my teacher as one who is there to help me learn.
6. My clothing and appearance will be conducive to learning.
7. I will be recognized by raising my hand when I want to speak to the class or the teacher.
8. I will not talk outside of being recognized in class.
9. I will remain in class at all times except for an emergency.
10. I will adhere to all Caddo Parish School Board rules, regulations, and policies.
11. I will not talk during or after testing.  This will be considered cheating and a zero will be given as my test score.

 

TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES;

 

1. I am committed to teach and help you learn and experience the content of this class.
2. I will make this class as interesting as possible, one that you will want to come to everyday.
3. I will respect you as young person.  I will see worth, value, and potential in you.
4. I will provide as much individual attention to each student as possible.
5. I will be available for parent / student / teacher conferences.
