TEXT: Sociology: The Study of Human Relationships, Holt, Rinehart and
Winston, 1995
OBJECTIVE: This course investigates human relationships and society as a
whole. Insights will be gained in how society functions, how society makes
its own rules to govern behavior, and the interactions between people and
their society. This elective course is an overview of the subject of
sociology, and is designed to be less strenuous and more informational than
other academic courses. Some study and work will be required; however, the
amount of work will be limited to enable students time to work on more
rigorous subjects.
