I am proud to say that I graduated from Prompt Succor and Holy Savior
Menard! I then went on to LSU and ended up getting my degree and teaching
certificate from Northwestern State University.
This will be my fifth year teaching at OLPS and my third year as a second
grade teacher. I taught third grade my first two years of teaching. I
am thrilled to be in the second grade!
My husband Jamie and I have been married for four and a half years. Jamie
is a farmer who farms in Natchitoches parish. He farms corn, beans, wheat,
and also pecans. We live in Melrose on beautiful Cane River. We like to
spend our free time riding in our boat and skiing. We have a beautiful
little girl who is three years old. Her name is Georgia Kate and she will
start her first year at OLPS in preschool! She is very excited! We also have
a sweet baby boy named Tripp. He is almost 5 months old and will be in the
OLPS nursery. We have a chocolate Lab named Bud.
I am so excited to start the school year and meet my new class. We have tons
of fun learning in 2B. Can't wait to get started. See you all at Open House!
My mission for the class is to provide a safe, loving and Christian
environment that promotes learning. I hope to instill a love of learning
that will follow my students throughout their lives.
