What if my child is sick?

You may call the office and let us know what is wrong with your

may send a note with your child when he/she returns to school.
Your child
should not return to school unless he/she has been free from
fever for at
least 24 hours.

Everyone has to take a nap or rest quietly. We nap for about 1

We listen to soft music on the tape player while we nap.

Your child may bring a VERY SMALL pillow to lay on. However, it

along with their towel in the desk.

Are the children allowed to bring toys to school?

We would rather the children leave toys at home. They sometimes
get broken
at school. However, your child may bring something on his share
day.
Please put your child's name on ANYTHING brought to school.

Can we send medicines to school?

If your child needs medicine during the day, you must come to
school to give
it to him/her. We are not allowed to dispense medicines anymore
unless it
is a medication that must be taken on a daily basis. In this
case a form
obtained from the office should be completed by the physician and
remain on
file in the school office. Medicines are then dispensed in the
office.
