I am originally from Lake Charles, but have lived in Alexandria for ten
years. My husband, Gary, and I have two children who attend Prompt Succor.
Annie is in fifth grade, and Will is in third.
I graduated from LSU, (GEAUX TIGERS!!), and have been teaching for
sixteen years. This is my seventh year at Prompt Succor. In addition to my
teaching certification, I am also a certified librarian. I absolutely adore
teaching PreK and feel that I have truly found my niche. I enjoyed Annie
and Will's PreK years so much that I decided that's where I wanted to be!
Children enter a warm and loving environment where every day is filled with
fun and meaningful learning experiences. We learn lots and lots through
discovery and play and grow daily in our academic and religious formation.
Our focus is literacy and math with science and social studies fundamentals
tied in. Keep your eyes and ears open, and you will be amazed at how much
your child absorbs. Don't blink; this precious year passes quickly!!
