Oil City Magnet School is the only environmental science school in Louisiana. Students learn environmental science across the curriculum through outdoor classrooms, an on-campus nature trail, outdoor Math Lab, field trips, and our partnerships with great educational resources such as Project Learning Tree and Sci-Port. Students complete hands-on community projects that help improve their community and instill the value of the lessons they are learning in the classroom. We are located in a small rural area in northern Caddo Parish. Come visit us! The difference is truly worth the distance!

7th & 8th GRADES REINSTATED!!!

Yes, we have 7th grade this year! 8th grade will begin next year! We are excited! We will be offering electives for our middle schoolers including forensic science, environmental science, guitar, photography, and others. Parents may attend our Open House at 6:00 p.m. Tues., August 18 or call the school office for more information.
