After School Care begins at 3:15PM and the cost is $7.50 per day. The children are to check in and receive a snack and playtime. Children work on homework for an hour everyday. Homework should be checked by parents and any studying is done at home. Students are asked to bring basic supplies for homework and free time (paper, pens, crayons, books, etc). After Care ends at 6:00PM SHARP!! Any child not picked up will be charged $1.00 per minute and must be paid at time of pick up!
We have a pre-pay system. A deposit should be made with registration on the first day of After School Care. Any child with a past due amount will not be allowed in After Care and a parent will be called to pick them up at 3:15PM.
Extended Care is staffed by teachers and school personnel. Students are expected to exhibit good behavior in Extended Care as they would in the classroom (see Handbook). Anyone who does not follow the rules consistently or commit a major offense will be referred to the Assistant Principal. If a student continues to misbehave he/she will not be allowed to attend the program.
An emergency card is kept with contact numbers and names of those authorized to pick up students. No one else will be allowed to sign out students without authorization!!
