English II Lesson Plans

Week of May 14-18:

MONDAY - FRIDAY:

Starting on Wednesday, you will begin taking your FINAL exams. (Yay!) Please 
check the orange sheet on my white board for the exam schedule.  

Also, we will finish reading and discussing the novel "Breathing
Underwater" and listen to a guest speaker on personality types on Monday.

I will miss you!  Thanks for a great year!

Underwater" by Alex Flinn.  Please be prepared for a mini-quiz later in the
week and a reflection worksheet.

*This entire week we will be working on writing a persuasive essay.  After
viewing a PowerPoint on Monday, you will select a topic and begin writing.  I
have two graphic organizers to help you and will also be walking around
answering questions during class.  The final draft is due on FRIDAY.  If you
do not turn it in until the following Monday (after the holiday), you will
receive two days late penalty.  Please be responsible, and feel free to ask
any questions!
